1. Who these terms are with
This website and the AcademIQ platform are operated by Invoxol (Vancouver, BC, Canada). "We" and "us" mean Invoxol. "You" means the person or institution using the website or the platform.
2. This website
The content here is provided for information. We take care to keep it accurate, and we state explicitly on the product page and the security page which capabilities are built and which are not — but nothing on this website is a contractual commitment, a warranty or an offer capable of acceptance. Feature availability, scope and pricing are agreed in writing.
You may not attempt to gain unauthorised access to this website or any connected system, probe it for vulnerabilities without written permission, scrape it at a rate that degrades service for others, or use it to transmit unlawful or abusive material. The demo form is for genuine enquiries.
3. Access to the platform
Access to AcademIQ requires an agreement between us and your school. Accounts are issued by your school's administrator, not by us directly. Your school receives a dedicated sign-in address during onboarding; that address is deliberately not published on this website.
You are responsible for:
- Keeping your credentials confidential and not sharing an account between people.
- Enabling multi-factor authentication where your school requires it.
- Telling your school administrator promptly if you believe an account has been compromised.
- The activity that occurs under your account.
4. Acceptable use of the platform
You must not:
- Attempt to access data belonging to another school, or to another user beyond your permissions.
- Circumvent, disable or test the access controls, rate limits or audit logging without written authorisation.
- Reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to derive the source code of the platform.
- Upload malware, or content that is unlawful, defamatory or infringing.
- Use the platform to send unsolicited bulk messages outside the school community it serves.
- Resell, sublicense or provide the platform as a service to a third party without our written agreement.

5. Your data belongs to you
A school retains all rights in the data it and its community put into AcademIQ. We claim no ownership of it. We process it to provide the service and for no other purpose: we do not sell it, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not use it to train machine-learning models.
On request, and on termination, a school's data is exported to it in full in a documented format. The offboarding sequence — notice period, export delivery, retention window and verified deletion — is set out in the service agreement.
6. Availability and support
We aim for continuous availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service on these website terms. Planned maintenance is notified in advance where practicable. Any committed service level, support response time or uptime target lives in the school's service agreement, not here.
7. Fees
Pricing is quoted per school following a demo call, scoped to campus count, user roles and the modules in use. Payment terms, renewal and any price changes are governed by the service agreement.
8. Intellectual property
The AcademIQ platform, its source code, design, documentation and the AcademIQ and invoXol names and marks remain our property. A school receives a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the platform for the term of its agreement. Nothing transfers ownership.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend access where there is a material breach of these terms, a credible security threat, or a payment default that remains unresolved after notice. Where circumstances allow, we will give notice and an opportunity to remedy before suspending. Termination rights for both parties are set out in the service agreement.
10. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, and in relation to use of this website, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss of data arising from your use of the website. Liability in relation to the platform is governed by the service agreement.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada, and the courts of that province have non-exclusive jurisdiction — save where mandatory local law in your jurisdiction provides otherwise.
12. Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the date at the top of the page reflects the current version. Questions go to hello@invoxol.com.
